    52 Book Challenge 2010: 52 Books in a Year.

    Progress report, I have only read 24 books so far. I have about ten weeks to finish, so that is about 2.8 books a week. I think I can do it because with the colder weather; I am starting my hibernation, like a typical resident of Chicago. My weekends will involve  a blanket, the couch, a cup of tea and a good book.

    John Wooden 1910-2010

    Deeply sadden that a legend that I grew up with is gone. Hopefully I can teach my kid as he taught many a young men.

    Seven Point Creed

    John Wooden's Seven Point Creed,[69] given to him by his father Joshua upon his graduation from grammar school:

    • Be true to yourself.
    • Make each day your masterpiece.
    • Help others.
    • Drink deeply from good books, especially the Bible.
    • Make friendship a fine art.
    • Build a shelter against a rainy day.
